Route A - Elite - 94.4 km with 2390 m level difference
Route B - Race - 51.7 km with 1250 m level difference
Route C - Hobby - 30 km

Categories:
The categories of competition will be:


Route A - Elite
Male - 19 to 29 years - (competitors born between the years 1983 to 1993)
Male - 30 to 39 years - (competitors born between 1973 - 1982)
Male - over 40 years - (competitors born before 1972)
Female - over 18 years - (competitors born before 1994)

Route B - Race
Male - 14 to 18 years - (competitors born between 1994 - 1998)
Male - 19 to 29 years - (competitors born between the years 1983 to 1994)
Male - 30 to 39 years - (competitors born between 1973 - 1982)
Male - 40 years - (competitors born before 1972)
Female - 14 years - (competitors born before 1998)

Route C - Hobby
Male - 14 to 29 years - (competitors born between the years 1983 to 1998)
Male - over - 30 years - (competitors born before 1982 inclusive)
Female - 14 years - (competitors born before 1998 inclusive)


Minimum age allowed for participation in the route A - Elite is 18 years.

Minimum age allowed for participation in the Route B - Race is 14 years. Persons under 18 must have required the written consent of parents.

Minimum age allowed for participation in the route C - Hobby is 14 years. Persons under 18 must have required the written consent of parents.

Note:

employment in the age group is depending on how old accomplished competitor in 2012, regardless of the month.

Ex.: Accomplishing 19 years in January 2012 - Admission to the category 19-29 years.
Reaches 19 years in December 2012 - Admission to the category 19-29 years.
For classes that do not collect a minimum of 6 starters, they will be combined with upper or lower age categories, depending on the number of participants.

Conditions of participation:

The competition is open to any lover of sports and movement in nature.

Are needed: a good health, a minimum level of training, a technical knowledge base of Mountain Bike tours and own at least 18 years. Those who have not turned 18 must have signed written consent and the parents or legal guardian on the application form and statement of responsibility. Participants assume full responsibility for the health is. Every registered participant will have a number of contest. Any participant must comply with competition rules and must follow instructions given by the organizers.

Registration:

Registration Saturday, 26.05.2012 at the Start - Arrival of competition: between the hours of 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Registration Sunday, 27.05.2012 at the Start - Arrival of competition between the hours of 8:00 to 9:00
Payment will be made in cash.


After receipt of payment with your name, the bank or store, you will then be displayed in a separate column of the table marked with competitors enrolled payment confirmed.

Registration fee includes: number, route support, fruit and food route energy, health care, demand results and other promotional materials.

Cancellations:

If the event is canceled due to force majeure, participants will receive a refund of the registration fee or compensation for other losses, such as accommodation or transport costs.

Responsibility:

Each participant who takes part in Alien Marathon Cycling is responsible for its own security and safety.

Organizers, partners, sponsors, volunteers and staff participating in the event are not responsible for any injury or damage or inconvenience caused by cancellation, delay or modification of routes that may occur during the conference.

Each participant must sign before you sign a statement of responsibility, which assumes the risks resulting from participation in such an event and any damage arising from any reason, including loss or theft.



Regulation:

These rules apply to the Alien Cycling mountain bike race marathon.
Characteristics of competition

The event is an outdoor competition. Routes are unsuitable and unsafe, use public roads, trails marked and unmarked, high gradient and rough areas etc..

Different segments of the routes pass through areas, wooded areas and cuts, (up, color, slopes, valleys, alpine meadows, juniper trees, etc.).. All it requires experience and special knowledge, such as:
- Any participant to have at least one general experience on the mountain;
- Any participant can have technical knowledge about tackling a difficult trail;
- Any participant to be able to safely climb and descend a slope inclined in difficult conditions;
- All participants have the ability to safely undergo a course in a mountainous area;
- All participants should be experienced enough to go through a route that difficult mountain;
- Every participant should have a good sense of direction in mountainous terrain, even in bad weather and poor visibility. This means that each participant be able to use a map and information about safe routes to reach;
- Any participant should know the rules of behavior in case of danger and urgency in the mountain area;
- Any participant should show fair play and friendship and to act accordingly when the situation demands;
- Any participant should know and have an attitude that takes into account the fact that no matter how many safeguards would take the organizers are not and will not be covered any risks arising from a competitive nature, environment and conditions under which out these;
- Any participant should be aware that no award is above the health and life of and / or other participants and to act accordingly to protect themselves when they feel or notice a hazard.
Mandatory equipment
- Bike in good working order,
- Helmet,
- Number (provided by organizers) and
- Chip timing (provided by organizers).

The lack of these items result in disqualification.
Competition numbers

Competition numbers will be received upon validation registration, after the participant has completed and signed application form, statement of responsibility and paid the equivalent of tuition.

Numerical cycling equipment must be worn in a visible place, must be visible throughout the race. Logos placed on the numbers must be visible. Numbers should not be cut or modified in any way during the contest. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
Validation / Sdinta technical / Start

Validation of entries will take place the day before the competition between 18:00 - 20:00 am the day of the contest between 08:00 - 09:00. Technical meeting will take place in the contest at 09:00 am

Verification of materials will begin 30 minutes before start. A briefing, where they will send any updates and adjustments will take place 10 minutes before start.

The start will be given for all categories grouped, 27/05/2012 - 10:30 - Start Route "Elite", "Race", "Hobby"

Participants will start after this time will not be ranked.


Checkpoints
The trails are located checkpoints required. Participants who do not pass through a checkpoint (for whatever reason) will be disqualified. Numerical and time competitors will be noted in order of arrival at each checkpoint.

Time limit
Because the marathon route - 94.4 km is not recommended for untrained and for your safety we have introduced a time limit that can go this route.
- 16:30 to PA 2
- 16:30 to PA 3
- 17:30 to PA in April

Stop / withdrawal from the race:

The organizer reserves the right to stop a participant in the following cases:
- After the home was injured and his condition no longer allowed to continue the race;
- If not within the time limit the contest to certain checkpoints;

Any participant who can not or does not want to proceed for any reason must inform the organizers immediately at home at checkpoints or on arrival and must provide chip timing. Failure of withdrawal from the race will cause a search and rescue (rescue, mountain rescue, helicopter) at the expense of the participant involved. The withdrawal shall be confirmed by the signature on the scoresheet. Any participant who withdraws will be helped on the best way to withdraw but is responsible for transporting their own route to be used when and where follow withdrawal, except for severe cases that do not allow movement by its own means.
Timekeeping

The timing is done using a chip-based system.

Ratings / Awards

Rankings will be compiled by categories of age and sex. Prizes will be awarded the first three finishers in each category. Everyone who finished the contest will receive certificates of participation.
Nature conservation

Leaving the garbage over the routes and / or the deliberate destruction of the environment will result in disqualification.
Forums / Help

Fans can support any competitor provided it complies with rules of conduct, guidelines authority and / or officials and not impede competition. Other rules

Cycling Marathon Alien Zalau used as trails and not only contest the following: public roads, landscaped trails and dirt that cross localities, pastures, forests, cuts (increases, color, slopes, valleys, alpine meadows, juniper trees, etc.).

Competitive routes are not closed to other road users (cars, vehicles, pedestrians, tourists, animals and others). This draws on the participants the obligation to respect the traffic rules of conduct imposed by law. Any accident caused and / or in which participants were involved Cycling Marathon Alien Zalau, it occurred during the in breach of competition rules and rules of conduct imposed by law, traffic will be the responsibility of those involved in the accident.

The competition takes place on the mountain in a place and unprotected undeveloped, so there is a risk of injury and / or death threats common to outdoor competitions. This includes not just about: collisions with motor vehicles, other vehicles, stones, rocks, trees, people and other objects, falls, slides, cold injuries and / or heat, hypothermia, heat stroke, dehydration, frostbite, burns, altitude sickness, falling rocks, storms, animals, fires, exercise.
Penalties
- Lack of equipment required object = disqualification;
- Shortening path = penalties or disqualifications (referee decision);
- Doping = disqualification;
- Environmental failure = disqualification;
- Change the number of contest = disqualification;
- No timing chip on the bike = disqualification;
- Breach of competition rules or disqualification penalty = (referee decision);
- Unsportsmanlike behavior to other participants, officials, public, other people = disqualification.

No fee will be refunded if disqualified.
Appeals

Any participant can make a complaint against another participant who failed to comply with competition rules or decisions of officials. The appeal shall be filed with the Office of Information, in writing, 15 minutes to complete provisional results display together with a fee of 60 lei. Settling disputes will be in next 30 minutes. 60 lei fee will be returned to the applicant, if the appeal will be accepted.

By registration, payment and participation each participant confirms that he has read, understood and accepted the conditions of participation and these rules, assume the risks of participation in Cycling Marathon Alien Zalau 2012 and are responsible for their actions should take into account the relevant circumstances as: traffic, weather conditions, changing weather, the area in which the equipment.
Changes

Organizing team reserves the right to change the detailed rules and conduct of the competition, until 05/27/2012. These possible changes will be published both on the official website www.mtbmaratonzalau.blogspot.com and on the notice boards of the start / finish.
